yeah, geniuses tend to usually tend to fall in either slytherin or ravenclaw. slytherins and ravenclaw both pursue knowledge, though for different reasons, i think. most ravenclaws pursue knowledge simply because they want and value it for the sake of having that knowledge, and most slytherins pursue knowledge to use that knowledge to achieve something. of course, there's exceptions and all, but.... yep. so it's /usually/ the slytherins who are the grade-mongers....... but i mean hermione was in gryffindor bc her gryffindor traits were dominant.... sorting is confusing lol i'm sure a lot of thought goes into it.
