Muse blinked and looked back at Mike, and his cheeks turned pink, smiling a little bit at the other. He felt his heart swell a little bit, and he looked down, to stop himself from accidentally crying. Marid, watching them carefully before she slowly smiled, "Hmm.. you really do seem very genuine. And you seem very sweet. And I can already see how happy you make him. I'm so glad you're alright, and... I know you weren't really asking for it, but you have my blessing."

She blinked and smiled, saying quietly, "You're welcome. I can't wait to welcome you into the family. Although we're a pretty small one. And now... Can you tell us bit about yourself? Like, normal you? Muse has only been able to tell us so much over text."

Muse squeezed his hand again, and said softly, "Mike's a pretty private person, Mom. There's a reason I only told you so much." Mari blinked and raised an eyebrow, but then said, "Ah, well,
I suppose I can respect that. Sorry to intrude or anything."
