I had one named Jasper I think, when I was really young? And I've got my two cats now, Alice who is pure black shorthair with yellow eyes, and "Little Cat" who my parents refused to let me name, who is pure black shorthair with pale like, yellow-green eyes.

hes always got these dopey half-moon eyes, he looks frickin drunk
his hind legs are shaped weird, and almost go entirely straight or bend backwards
his body is very skinny and boney, and he rarely gains weight, only eating until the "im hungry" feeling goes away rather than eating until he feels full
he constantly air-kneads the ground
his tail doesnt go straight up, it hooks over and frequently trembles
hes EXTREMELY affectionate
you can flop him anywhere and he'll go completely limp like a ragdoll
he hangs open his mouth constantly
he is ALWAYS purring
if you touch him he falls over
and lastly he hurts himself all the time, and he damaged his radial nerve in his arm so he has a very prominent limp so we call it a gimpy foot
hes Messed Up but literally the most sweet cat ever

my cat alice was similar to that, her family was attacked and killed by a pit bull, she was the only one left alive. my ex-best friend (best way i can describe it, since he's been an asshole to me over something dumb,) were really rough and nasty with her as a kitten so she's pretty cold and distant now. I love her but she's a pain in the butt sometimes - and if we hadn't adopted her, i imagine she would have either been A: still with his family, or b: put down somewhere, so... I'm glad she's with us.
