• asher theodore harris was born in bethesda, maryland in a remote community where everyone knew everyone. especially with avid imagination it could only be imagined that asher would'a been popular among his peers, but before asher could even go to preschool his mother, adelia omar-harris, got a job in congress. this was mostly during Obama's administration so it doesn't take long for obama family and the harris family to become close. asher was legit going to bbq's and malia and sasha's birthday party it was lit
• because his mom was so busy and in DC most the time, he went to school in DC for his next thirteen years of his life. since the harris family wasn't popular or nothin', he was still able to maintain a fairly normal life. he wasn't dedicated to any specific clique, especially leading into middle school and high school years, everyone just seemed to know him but if it were to be decided whom he hung out with the most it's the skater kids with the dyed hair, piercings and thrasher hoodies. especially since in his account, skating is life
• mr. liam harris is a lawyer who probably would get ur fav in jail for smoking a cigarette if he wanted to. he's just that genius.
• so where does that leave asher? it's complicated, at least according to him. school itself was never his strongest point. he wasn't getting terrible grades, but they weren't great, either, compared to his parents who just seemed to do good all the way through. because of that, his friends and strangers at the skatepark had to listen to his oversharing, about how he isn't sure if he even wants to go to college because if he were ever to tell his parents he's afraid they'd pack his bags and kick him to the curb.
• school sucks, yeah, but breaking bones doesn't suck. he's done it plenty over the years. only about twelve times in counting. but that's only bc he wants to do that super cool trick where he skates off that slide railing. it's totally safe!!! i mean, til it's not
• that one dude that yells parkour when it most definitely isn't parkour. actually, that dude that yells random stuff in the parking lot, tells a stranger hello for no reason, just because his gregarious. he's a people person. half of the time, he likes people.
•  a sentimental child who doesn't like to suppress his emotions like some of these dudes out here. he cried during a disney movie, he'd admit it. once told a girl how much he <3'd her in the fifth grade, she broke his heart. now she won't let it go.
•  so i mentioned thrasher and yeah, thrasher hoodies take over most of his closet. he's either sporting a white t-shirt and sweatpants or that thrasher hoodie in eighty degree whether there is no in between my doods. he also likes shoes. has plenty.
• since he spent most of his time being in puppy love with the two girls in elementary and middle school, he never really knew what to do with relationships so getting into one, he'd have to discover for himself. (he's read a few pages on wikipedia).
• always open to trying new things; he's a social smoker, drinker, and he isn't exactly closed to the occasional hookups. (had one once in high school with a cheerleader but that's it, won't have one that becomes routine until evie) in fact, he thinks that it's both a healthy and fun way to release stress if he's being quite honest.
• his music taste can go from before he cheats by carrie underwood to god's plan by drake, to bodak yellow by cardi b there really isn't any in between
