/in which handsome jack isn't a hologram appearing to only rhys, but is a physical human helping with the whole vault hunting thingy
jack had always hated the colder parts of pandora. it was all just ice, and right now, he was freezing his ass off. "you know! we could make a god damned fire! don't tell me you guys aren't freezing!" he said, rubbing his arms in an attempt to generate heat in his own body. he looked at rhys, and sighed. "cmon, buddy! bro! broseph! cupcake! bucko! tell em! it's fucking cold!" he said, snarling softly. if these shitheads didn't start listening, he was going to start blowing brains from people's heads. athena, the bitchy lesbian assassin, was completely ignoring him, as well as fiona and sasha. only vaughn and rhys seemed to even acknowledge them. "you guys remember me saving your god damned lives, right?" he snapped.

Rhys sighed when Jack started to speak, and he said quietly, shaking his head a bit and sighing, "Jack, quiet down." He was cold too, but he wasn't freezing, and while he wasn't just going to ignore Jack, he really doubted they could make too much of an effective fire out here.

jack growled softly and crossed his arms. "see if i help you idiots again.." he muttered. athena sighed. "can you make your dog shut up?" she snapped at rhys, and jack went for rhys's shock baton. "i'm going to shove this down you're throats and shock your shitty little heart!"

Rhys frowned and jumped a bit, moving to grab Jack's arms and hold him away from the shock baton. He said, sighing a little, "He's not my dog, Athena. And Jack, stop threatening people."

jack looked at the hand and sighed. "fine, whatever.. but can we please just stop? its getting dark, and well really be freezing if we don't."

He blinked and said quietly, "Alright, I think we should stop too. We need some rest, and we can at least attempt a fire.." He didn't take his hand off of Jack, almost worried the other would actually launch himself at somebody.

fiona sighed. "alright. there's an over hang over there." she said and moved off to it. the others followed. jack scowled. "i still don't see why we can't just kill them in their sleep."

Rhys sighed, deciding to simply link his arm with Jack's as he said softly, leading him towards the overhang, "Because they're useful? And nice? And we shouldn't just be killing people."
