It had been a year now since Ignis and Gladio had married and got a place of their own. Noctis and Prompto had moved in and now shared the spare bedroom they had. Of course they didn't mind the company. Ignis practically raised Noct since he was six, so Noctis was practically Ignis's son. And Prompto...Well, he was a friend. It was enjoyable to hang around him.
Gladio had the day off, so he was currently at the house with Ignis. It was later on in the afternoon, so Prompto and Noct should be arriving home from their college classes pretty soon. Gladio soon made his way into the kitchen. He leaned against the wall, watching as Ignis prepared dinner.
"Need any help Iggy?" gladio asked.

Ignis smiled slightly when he heard gladio, glancing over his shoulder. "you can come stand over here and look pretty." he said.

Gladio chuckled softly. He moved over, slipping his arms around his waist, kissing his neck. "That's not very hard to do." He murmured softly. He smiled. "You're already doing a great job of looking pretty." He said.

Gladio kissed him back, smiling softly. He gave him a gentle squeeze. He soon moved a hand when his phone went off. He took it down, looking at the text he received. “Oh. Noctis is at the palace right now. His father wanted to see him, so he’ll be a bit late coming home.†He said.

Gladio nodded. He then sent Noct the text before putting his phone away. “That may not be a for a while. The kid never sees his father anymore, since Regis is so busy now. I think it’s been five months since Noct physically met up with him.†He said.

It was a few hours later when Noctis has arrived back at the house. Gladio has been in the living room. He looked over when Noctis has entered. “Hey Noct. You were supposed to call.†He siad.
Noctis glanced at Gladio. “Yeah, I...I know.†Noctis said.
