Inspector Lestrade had reported of a murder that had happened near a bar in London. The particular bar was a gay nightclub bar. Of course, Sherlock didn't think much of going there to question people. John on the other hand, well, Sherlock knew full well why the other was a bit uneasy to follow along this time. For some reason, it always seemed to annoy John when people assumed they were a couple, and going to this bar together would probably only spread the rumors. Not that Sherlock cared, but John seemed quite defensive about it.
After a bit, they had arrived. Sherlock glanced around. It was certainly a bit busy. Sherlock glanced down at the smaller blonde. "If it will make you feel better, you are more then welcome to wait out here John." Sherlock murmured.

john, of course, was apprehensive, but he didn't want sherlock going in alone. poor, influential, innocent sherlock. john was the one who knew all the terms and slang, so he wasn't going to let him go in alone. "no, you shouldn't go in there alone. it gets pretty.. uh.. weird the later it gets." he said awkwardly and grimaced as he remembered a distant memory. he sighed and moved inside. "ok. stay away from the dance floor, and if you see a creepy old guy at the bar.. don't order anything." he sighed.
at the bar sat a red headed man, drinking what looked like shots of whisky- very slowly.

Sherlock rose an eyebrow, looking at John. He couldn't help but chuckle. "You are making it seem like I don't know how to work around these places." he said. Sherlock then looked around, starting to examine people from afar. "I may seem clueless to you, but a bar like this is no different then any other." Sherlock said.
He then fell silent when a certain male had caught his attention. He waited a moment before moving over to the other. There was a seat open next to him. "Excuse me sir. Is anyone sitting next to you?" Sherlock asked. He'd have to just act for a bit.

the red haired man looked at, eyes slightly wide. he hesitated and shook his head. "no. go ahead." he said. he was obviously american- which would explain his choice of drink. he downed what was left in the glass and his leg began to jump. just like sherlock, he could act- and well. currently, he had already planned everything out.

Sherlock eyed him before nodding. He then took a seat next to him. He blinked, looking at the bartender. He then ordered himself a drink as well as one for John. "So, you're American. Are you here for visitation or have you recently moved to London?" Sherlock asked.

john sat with sherlock and hummed, looking at drew.
drew blinked. "i uh.. i moved here was i was 9." he stated. "just never really picked up the accent." he looked down at the bartender pored him another glass and he slowly started to drink it.

Sherlock nodded, eyeing him. "Most people don't pick up on the accent, but they do pick up on the different words we use for every day items." He said. He blinked. "There has been a report of a murder near this bar. Do you by chance know anything about it?" he asked.

he blinked and stared at him for a moment, eyebrows furrowing. "uh.. not really. there's a lot of mugging a bit.. that's all i know about.. why, are you a cop?" he said, voice lowering at the last part.

He blinked. "No. I'm Sherlock Holmes, a consulting detective. I do work with the police on many occasions. This is one of them. I'm here to see if anyone has any helpful information about what happened." Sherlock said.

his eyes widened. "o-oh! you're.. oh god." he said and downed his drink quickly. "is.. its so nice to meet you, mr. holmes.@ he said and looked past him. "and that's.. john watson. i love both of your blogs. never miss an instalment." he said and clamped his hands together in his lap, cheeks red. "now i wish i wore my good jeans.."
