When The Fires Have Surrounded You // Private - Leafwing12 - 11-05-2018
//Trigger warning for mentions of death, alcohol use, depression.
It had been about two months now since Sam lost Dean. They were on a hunt and it had gone horribly wrong, which resulted in the loss of his brother. Sam didn’t know what to do or how to bring him back, if he even could. Castiel had been missing as well, so he couldn’t just see if there was something Cas could do. So, Sam was officially on his own. And it was certainly getting to him.
Sam has just finished a hunt on his own. It wasn’t too horrible. Sam has been driving the impala back to the town he was staying in. They had a bar here so he decided to stop off at it. Sam made sure to clean off whatever blood he could to the best of his ability before heading on inside.
He then sat down on one of the bar stools, keeping his distance from the others sat there as well. He then ordered a drink from the bartender and started drinking it slowly. Sam honestly did just look physically and emotionally exhausted.

ramis and his family had owned this bar since before the town had been founded.. and by that, i mean they were all hundreds of thousands of years old and had owned this bar since around the early 1900s. yes, technically, they were immortal, but that’s what vampires were. you see, they had started out as humans and then they had made a deal with a god. first born for a lineage with immortality.. so now, they were immortals but there was a price for that. they had fangs, a thirst for blood- they were original vampires. the original vampires. of course, they always kept low, and for all the thousands of years they had existed, no one knew.
but, ramis was taking a liking to a patron of the bar, so he had moved over to his table with a beer bottle. “you look upset.†he said and set the bottle in front of him. “i thought you could use some company.â€Â

Sam seemed to be spacing out a bit until Ramis spoke. He glanced up at him. He then forced a weak smile. “Well thanks. But...I’m not really one you would want to be socializing with.†He whispered

he hummed. “you don’t have to talk. i just don’t think anyone one should be all alone when they seem so down.†he stated. he had a very thinck accent- obviously arabic. he hummed. “that one is on the house.â€Â

He blinked, frowning a bit. Sam then took out some money, setting it on the bar counter. “It’s alright, take the money. One is probably all I should have. I need to drive back to the hotel anyway and if anything happens to the car then my brother...†Sam trailed off for a moment. “Well he’d murder me if he ever found out I wrecked the car somehow.†He murmjred

he frowned softly, watching him. “well, if you need to drink away your feelings, there are rooms upstairs- complimentary with a fourth drink.†he explained. “and we also offer free ‘talk it out’ sessions. held by me.†he said with an encouraging smile.

Sam blinked, shaking his head. “Trust me it’s...It’s better not knowing. You’ll just think I’m crazy anyway and probably call up some psych ward to come take me away.†He murmjred

he hummed. “trust me, i’ve heard my fair share of crazy.â€Âhe said and smiled. “my niece seems to think she’s s goddess/ which, she certainly should be held as one but.. she isn’t actually one, if that makes sens?†he said.

Sam was silent for a moment. “...Yeah. I get it.†Sam whispered. After a while, he finished up his drink.
