HORSE ASSIGNMENTS
HORSE ASSIGNMENTS
In the Northstar District, thanks to a barn built under Wolfbite's leadership, there are several horses. Some have been gained through trade, others have been found, and a few have been tamed from the wilderness. Usually, horses are assigned to specific members of the District, and if there is a surplus they are either unassigned or secondary/tertiary/etc horses can be given out to members, however, these secondary/tertiary/etc horses may have to be given up if needed. Horses can be used for work, for patrolling, for riding to various places, and more. The current Horse Manager is [member=3914]Anabiel[/member].
REQUIREMENTS + RULES
A member has certain requirements to be able to obtain a horse as deemed by the current Horse Manager. These requirements can vary from Horse Manager to Horse Manager.- To be assigned a horse, a member must be at least eight-years-old.
- Under the case that a member cannot be trusted with a horse, they will not receive one.
- Members are responsible for any injuries their horse sustains in their care.
- If a Horse Manager deems it necessary, with probable cause, they can deny a member the right to be assigned a horse. ([i]OOC: This is very unlikely!!)
HORSE INFORMATION
This is MANDATORY to be at least looked through to be able to be assigned a horse. I do not want any inaccurate horse care being portrayed in case of others taking it seriously. [spoiler=BREEDS]- ANDALUSIAN: Strongly built, and compact yet elegant, Andalusians have long, thick manes and tails. Their most common coat color is gray, although they can be found in Bay, Black, Buckskin, Chestnut, Perlino, and Roaning. They are known for their intelligence, sensitivity, and docility.
- ARABIAN: The Arabian is a versatile breed. Arabians dominate the discipline of endurance riding. Selective breeding for traits including an ability to form a cooperative relationship with humans created a horse breed that is good-natured, quick to learn, and willing to please. They can be found in all thoroughbred colors along with roan, sabino, dun, cremello, palomino or buckskin, along with many others.
- BARB: The Barb is a breed known for its great hardiness and stamina. The Barb generally possesses a fiery temperament and an atypical sport-horse conformation. The predominant color is gray, but bay, black, chestnut, and brown horses are also found.
- PERCHERON: The Percheron is a breed of draft horse, usually gray or black in color, Percherons are well muscled and known for their intelligence and willingness to work.

All horses at Northstar District are trained by the Horse Manager basic leading skills, basic riding skills, etc. based on pressure being applied to various body parts of the horse along with signals and noises.

All horses are groomed or bathed at least once per every two weeks, usually only lightly to prevent skin irritation unless they are muddy, dirty, etc.
