THUNDERCLAN THEME DISCUSSION - Psychosocial - 09-18-2017 its that time boyos What do you want to see in ThunderClan that would improve your roleplaying experience? Should we keep the same hierarchy with a certain focus towards the refugee/police force theme, or make it more traditional with the ranks and ceremonies, or anything else? Should ThunderClan stay in the forest or find a new home elsewhere? All of your opinions matter and I can't wait to see what you guys have in mind! ^^ Feel free to also give your opinions on ThunderClan here. Theme traditional hierarchy Territory thunderstorms common, forest(?) Re: THUNDERCLAN THEME DISCUSSION - Alpha Kratt - 09-18-2017 Just gonna add in a quick bit here I like the forest territory! And I also like the traditional ranks, maybe with a few new names put in just to spruce it up. Again, this is quick but I'll add more later! Re: THUNDERCLAN THEME DISCUSSION - mutt - 09-19-2017 [align=center][div style="width: 400px; font-family: arial; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px;"]more interaction with the members. both ic and ooc. it feels like there's stiff interaction and it's making the place lack threads of both open and private. change up the territory. it reminds me of thunderclan back on ff and i want the thunderclan here to not be related to it. i was thinking about them living in a place where thunderstorms/thunder strikes occur frequently, hence the name thunderclan. would traditional be like leader, deputy, medic and medic trainee? i would be down with that since we have few members and a bunch of ranks with little people to fill them is pointless. plot with our allies more. do events to help strengthen bonds. gift baskets are nice, but are stale and need a little more to them. i know ambassadors typically show up with gift baskets to allies, ask how they're doing, etc., but encouraging them to seek out planned events is good. maybe even territory swap. it wouldn't be long, a week at the most, and this might help out with people getting dual memberships or visit and already have a selected place they stay at; always welcomed to come whenever and stay for as long as they please. make it so that characters can get comfortable with each other and bond more. hnngh, sorry if it seems commanding or pushy. it's not meant to be in any short of way and those are all the things i have on my mind right now Re: THUNDERCLAN THEME DISCUSSION - Alpha Kratt - 09-19-2017 Dittoing Terrors! That territory idea is really cool. Advertising can be good too! A banner may help, as would putting TC out there in Clan placement threads. Re: THUNDERCLAN THEME DISCUSSION - zenzan - 09-19-2017 I joined ThC for the forest-y territory because it seemed the most like Dagobah but I'm okay with anything. Yoda can adapt, I think. XD Re: THUNDERCLAN THEME DISCUSSION - Psychosocial - 09-20-2017 Thank you all for giving me your input! Territory-wise I think the frequent storms and strikes would be interesting! Maybe the idea could be incorporated to a forest/jungle/plains based territory located near a sea, maybe as a peninsulaâ€â€Âlightning strikes would be common because of sea breezes, the fact that it's so close to moisture and receiving plenty of sunlight (in less densely vegetated regions of the territory). This is just an idea of course. I agree that having more traditional ranks would be more effective rather than having different ranks without any active members to actually fill them. A basic concept would be leader, deputy, medic + medic apprentice, high position 1 (higher), high position 2 (lower), semi-high position (stepping stone), members, where the high positions are free to specialize in diplomacy, events, war, etc. Ally interaction is definitely a must! I'll be happy with having a planned event with an ally that's more than just distributing gift baskets. The same goes for intra-Clan interaction as well. |
