TBH this is slightly sadistic of me but I'd personally like to see BL built up with like. The alcohol and territory and mafia expansion before a big destructive plot? Because I'm a sucker for plots where there's everything to lose for a group, and something like contaminated water could totally affect the business side of things with BL too. The idea of a golden age followed by a huge issue is one of my favorite things.
