DON'T DO LOVE DON'T DO FRIENDS I'M ONLY AFTER SUCCESS DON'T NEED A RELATIONSHIP I'M NEVER SOFT ON MY GRIP
"akari i know you're in there!"
she thinks that the dumb blonde forgets that she can literally [I]feel her presence. not only that, but her cat hangs at the window, looking down at her as if deliberately. almost as if to say, 'keep going. she knows she can't hide forever.' even if she hadn't done it forever, she's done a pretty good job at doing so ever since she'd left rei alone to save the world from a crazy woman and her son who so happens to be the new heartthrob of their school. she didn't need to have a sixth sense to know something was off about him any man that flawless without makeup had to have some kind of evil presence lingering behind him. no texts from akari, no calls. rei is left to only wander and insult an individual who isn't here until she could actually go to her home. only for her to not answer any the door. typical.
still, rei has always been persistent. she just needs to talk. that's it. maybe. though, if she wanted to insult akari would anyone blame her?
the sudden slamming of car doors draws her from her thoughts. this meant one thing, and one thing only. her parents were home. "it's too bad you won't talk to me, blondie. i had something important to tell you." she called to the window. "bye... see you." she heads to the front, but not before winking to the cat. a little secret between the both of them that rei was getting inside to lecture whether akari wanted it or not. when rei wanted to, she's a natural born bred charmer, especially to those elder than she; her grandfather loved her to the grave and with akari's parents it's no different. they lavish in the fact that a girl so beautiful hangs around their daughter and they joyously ask her what she's doing here.
[b]"akari and I have a group project. i was ashamed she didn't come today."
"oh, she fell ill this morning. we let her stay home today, but she'll definitely be there tomorrow. if you want, you can go upstairs, though! I'm sure she'll be more than happy to have a visitor!"
[b]"and i'm more than happy to be the visitee!" they share exchanges of laughters before welcoming her inside and without assistance to akari's door. 'DO NOT ENTER' a sign reads. Yeah right. without further proposition, rei enters an aesthetically pleasing room puked in pink. if one didn't look hard enough they would miss akari's little blonde head peaking under the blanket. akari and rei's cat exchange knowing glances. rei closes the door behind her. [b]"care to explain why you left me to handle jedite on my own?" she asks as she approaches closed curtains to withdraw them.
[b]"avoiding your responsibilities is not apart of the sailor code. you left me on my own...." she paused, glancing behind her at the other. [b]"until tuxedo mask showed up." walking over towards the others drawers, she begins to look at them, face scrunching at akari's lack in style (or rather, she liked to tease her every chance she got) [b]"we're going out. now. you can't be in here all day."
