he was somewhat rusty on his hand-to-hand fighting skills, which was slightly worrying to the large man. he had only gotten better with his guns, with his aim being quicker and more accurate than ever, but he was still fairly bad at physical combat. currently, gabriel was standing with his back against a wall, arms crossed firmly over his chest as he watched the happenings of flintlock lodge go by. he didn't really mind that no one seemed to speak to him much or even want to be near him; he'd always relished peaceful silence, and he was used to whispers. besides, he would take any insult with little reaction anyway. he deserved everything he got.

he had the skull-looking mask pulled down to hide his face and hood pulled up to shield against the rough, cold breeze; he hated the chilly bite of the territory of flintlock lodge. but the residents were nice enough--especially that one girl whom he'd never caught the name of when he had joined--and jack was here, so he decided it would be in his best interest to stay for at least a few weeks. or months. he wasn't the best at reading the passing of time, as without power there were really no other ways to tell except by the passing of the sun.

Reaper intrigued her, enough to where she thought it would be appropriate to practically stalk him. She wanted to know, mostly, what kind of person he was and what he did when no one was around. So far, she was able to keep a low profile. Though, sooner or later she needed to lose her cover and speak to him. And so she did, approaching him quietly and flashing him a smile. "Hey, ah, Reaper was it? I didn't get to introduce myself! I'm Daesung."

How funny that he had just been wracking his brain trying to think of whether or not the girl had ever stated her name, and here she was, introducing herself. He gave a short chuckle as the phrase "speak of the devil and he shall appear" popped into his head. This girl was most definitely not a devil of any sort--as far as he could tell, at least. She didn't seem quite as fierce as most of the others in flintlock lodge, but then again, he could always be wrong. He tried not to make judgements about others before truly meeting them and finding out more about them. "Yep, that's me," he replied, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he fought it back. "your name's pretty. What's it mean, do you know?"
