&&. HOW TO ACCESS SOAP'S SHOP

To initiate a trade or request (either at his shop or order through mail), please make a thread with 'essentials' somewhere in the title and tag him in the post. Be sure to specify whether this order is through mail or in his shop so I can reply. You do not need to make a thread if Soap is visiting the alliance your character belongs to with items - just reply to the thread with your character's request. Every now and then I will also post a shop thread should Soap have any new or in-season stock and you can post in that thread rather than make a new one. Just remember that trading with Soap is available any time and you do not need to wait for one of my shop threads to shop at his store!

[sup]all stock are packaged in glazed terracotta containers and must therefore be transported with care.[/sup]
the containers are 8 cm by 8 cm and are circular in shape with a flat bottom. the lower half of the container is 4.5 cm in height and the lid, slightly bigger than the 8 x 8 dimensions, is 1.5 cm in height. the lid has a straight centimeter-wide indent that passes through the middle. the indent helps guide in place a white signature ribbon which wraps around the container once to help seal shut the contents. the ribbon is always tied into a bow.

♥ Aloe Vera — aloe vera contains hormones which help fight and treat acne, therefore clearing the skin of blemishes and promoting the growth of new and healthy skin cells - which in turn gives smooth skin. it both moisturises the skin and soothes sunburns, acting as an ingredient which helps heal wounds. aloe vera prevents aging by reducing stretch marks and is full of nourishing nutrients. renowned as a medical herb, it not only promotes cell growth but it also protects skin tissues and cells. it contains anti-allergen and anti-inflammatory properties so is therefore gentle on the skin and can be used on infants.

Coconut Olive Oil— nourishes, moisturises, cleanses and protects the skin to allow for a glowing finish. Gentle on the skin and removes dirt. Its olive oil base is combined with coconut oil to allow smooth skin and has antimicrobial agents which fend of viruses, bacteria and fungi.

★ Eucalyptus & Lemongrass— eucalyptus oil has effective antibacterial properties combined with analgesic qualities to soothe muscle pain and soreness. It assists with skin irritation and rashes. The pleasant scent is said to ease coughs, treat congestion and mild asthma. Due to its natural antibacterial properties, the soap can help heal burns and cuts more quickly. The lemongrass component helps treat acne and reduces wrinkles. It's known to be effective in reducing stress and preventing excessive sweating which in turn can help diminish body odour. It assists in minimalising cellulite.

Lavender Oatmeal — lavender oatmeal soap is a pleasant smelling soap derived from goat's milk, lavender and oats. with the ingredients combined, it provides cleansing and effective healing properties. some have claimed that the powerful effects of lavender can help soothe headaches, depression and insomnia. the oats assist with relieving skin dryness and provide very low irritation on skin compared to other ingredients that may be found in soaps. it has proven to be very good at keeping skin moisturised for up to two weeks.[/spoiler]

soap:
Milk & Honey — contains small amounts as hydrogen peroxide which can help heal wounds. as an antioxidant, milk & honey soap also shields skin cells from damage and can cleanse skin without damaging the skin's natural oils. it helps clear acne and retains moisture. raw goat's milk is used for this soap and effectively helps people who have dry or sensitive skin. it is full of vitamins which help reduce wrinkles and the soap's minerals help prevent skin cancer.

face masks:
Banana Honey —helps to smoothen and treat dry and aging skin. It can also be used for oil control to reduce acne. Banana is a wonderful main component which, aside from the aforementioned benefits, protects the skin from UV damage and maintains skin elasticity and strength. Honey helps heal wounds and further enhances the mask's nourishment. It helps destroy bacteria.

Cucumber — cucumber can help treat sunburn, acne and irritated skin due to the many nutrients found within it. as a face mask, it promotes anti-aging and hydrates the skin to give a glowing finish. although not included, cucumber slices helps soothe dark circles and puffy eyes.[/spoiler]

There are three methods to purchasing Franklin's goods.
1) Direct purchase in store.
2) Direct purchase by moving stall.
3) Delivery purchase via order.

DIRECT PURCHASE IN STORE
Franklin's goods are available for direct purchase in his store that is located within the Northstar District. There is no limit on how many goods may be bought at once and it can be requested for orders to be freshly made (though requesting so will take some time). All goods seen in Franklin's shop are the extent of all the types of products he has available. An advantage to shopping in Franklin's store is that the person will be able to reserve products so that Augustus will hold the item until collection.

DIRECT PURCHASE BY MOVING STALL
As he also functions as a travelling merchant, Franklin is able to carry a limited supply of goods to different towns in hopes of selling and doing business. However, because he will likely be far from base, goods are limited and should anyone be looking to purchase more than five items or more than three of the same items, he will encourage the shopper to order the rest or he will reject them. Franklin's moving stall carries a sample of all his products, but their availability is on rotation due to limited space (for example he may bring one soap but not the other). Items cannot be reserved and must be a then and there purchase.

DELIVERY PURCHASE VIA ORDER
Goods can be ordered through mail (refer to 'ordering via mail' subcategory) or by personally visiting Franklin's store (ordering at his moving stall works as well). If the order is of something in stock, goods may be delivered within a day to a week. If the order is of something currently unavailable, the goods may be delivered as quick as a week or as long as a month. Delivery orders may be rejected should the item list be too large and is paid upon delivery.

[spoiler=subcategories]PRE-ORDERS & ORDERS:
Items that are currently not available or will become available can be pre-ordered. Pre-ordering does not create extra expenses and can be available for pick-up in store or through delivery. If a large batch of a particular item or items are desired, it is highly recommended for it to be ordered and picked up in store. Ordering a batch helps save time and promotes organisation.

RESERVATIONS:
Items may be reserved in store (or requested through mail) for an extra expense. Items are reserved for as long as two weeks.

ORDERING VIA MAIL:
To order via mail, the mail itself must be directed to Augustus' store address. It can also be given to him in person. The order must include: the list of items wanted (name & quantity), what the buyer wants to trade, the buyer's name (printed), the buyer's signature, and the buyer's address. Upon reading the order, Augustus will write a letter back saying whether or not the order has been accepted or rejection (he will explain why the order was rejected and discuss ways he may be of service).[/spoiler]

WHAT HE ACCEPTS FOR PURCHASE:

[spoiler=list]Augustus Franklin can willingly accept all kinds of things but mainly accepts:
• fresh produce (vegetables, fruits, meats, eggs)
• clothing (only clothes which fit him and men's only)
• cigarettes and alcohol
• perfumes


He will always accept:
• honey
• goat's milk
• coconuts (preferably coconut oil)
• olives (preferably olive oil)
• eucalyptus leaves
• aloe vera
• other ingredients he uses in his products


He will never accept:
• weapons (except for [abbr=he uses them to chop soap and other bars]chopping knives[/abbr])
• bones of animals or people
• live/dead sacrifices ([abbr=who even trades sacrifices??]why?[/abbr])[/spoiler]
