Having trouble with post editing?

So for some reason, my and at least some other people's accounts have just reverted to the setting where if you click to modify a post, or to post a new one, you're in the 'WYSIWYG' settings. This just means certain codes like , text formatting and alignment, will automatically preview on your text box! this unfortunately messes with a lot of people's code when they can't see the bbcode.

To turn this OFF, go to your profile, go to 'Look and layout'. You'll see a list of checkboxes. Near the bottom is "Show WYSIWYG editor on post page by default."
make sure this is unchecked!!

Save your settings and you should be good!

no problem! I noticed a problem with it and a few of my friends had the issue too so I figured it was likely a widespread thing. didn't want anyone else to have screwed up coding or anything!
