There’s a drink of choice waitin’ for ya back at the hotel once we’re done here. ❞ Teddy exclaimed as he wandered around the prison yard nonchalantly. They were well on their way to fully renovating the prison to make it functional enough for future inmates, the Badlands’ leader watching over towards a group of volunteers as they returned to work from their ten minute break.
His gaze followed them for a moment before he swivelled around to lean back against a picnic table, lip curled as he picked away at some flakes of paint. There was definitely a lot more that he wanted done to the prison to make it more appealing to his opulent eye, but The Administration’s priority was to get this place fixed up so that they could begin to acquire a group of prisoners to serve their time by doing The Badlands' dirty work.
Without the manufactured currency at hand, their ambitious plans would falter.
Eyes flitted around the prison yard as people returned to working on various tasks. Whilst he expected the volunteers to work excessively hard to get the job done, Teddy would not involve himself in any of the manual labour. After all, why would he need to? For those who made the rules, there were no rules; and so, if he didn’t feel like working, he wouldn’t.
