And he's a fricking adorable apprentice with a major sweet tooth. He thinks that what he was in a past life defines who he is as a person, and as such refuses to disclose any information about his past. (If only he knew who exactly he was sharing a clan with, am I right?!)
He's open to literally anything except death, injury, and litters.
I've got a few ideas I'd like I try out, if you're interested.
• making some little arts and crafts thing for your character (like a flower crown, a necklace, bracelet, etc.). If your character is generally grumpy or sad, he'll go far out of his way to try and make them smile. He's a giver; he wants your character to be happy
• long or short term romances. He's a hopeless romantic and would totally smother your character with hugs and kisses and fluffy shit like that all the time. He does get attached very easily, however, so a breakup could be a cool little plot as well, especially one where the other breaks up with him.
• hunting together. He can't stand being alone, and sometimes it sends him into panic mode, so he will ask literally anyone he sees to go hunting with him. He'll stick close to their side and basically just make numerous awkward attempts at conversation. He's a fairly weak hunter, too, so he may require some pointers from your character.
• maybe your character could find out somehow about his past (maybe recognize the assassin's necklace he wears?) and just casually ask him when he was an assassin. He would freak out a little and probably choke on his own saliva if somebody did that.

• he could steal something of your character's and be caught in the act
• he loves candy, so he could always bug your character for candy
