Johannes was for once not in the library, but the kitchen. He was still reading, though--poring over a field guide to wildflowers, quietly chewing on some dried rabbit as he sat on one of the barstools they used for the counter. It was a quiet afternoon and he honestly was feeling a bit sleepy--soon he might drift off. Maybe he should head up to his room first, but for now....fleabane and foxglove was holding his attention.

Daesung was still resting up from her spar with Moksha, which took quite a lot out of her. The bruises that formed on her body were throbbing, but she managed with a few Aspirin she found in a little packet and a couple bottles of water. Maybe getting something to eat would help, as well? She limped a little toward the kitchen, but her eyes locked on to Johannes who was comfortably reading a book. For a moment, she didn't want to disturb his peace... Only for a moment. "Hello, Johannes. What're you reading?"

He was invested, lost in the pages of flowers and herbs. The images were a bit faded, but the paper was glossy and it hurt his head when his fingers ran over it. He'd have to cut his nails or something. That sound was godawful. He glanced up with a start, eyes wide. It was Daesung. She looked like shit. He supposed it was just the sparring she'd had, but damn. All the more reason to be terrified of Moksha, he supposed. That man was a fright. He shrugged, flipping the book closed to show the green binding and the embossed title. "Field guide. Flowers. Stuff." He shrugged again, biting his lip. "Are you hungry?" He was, but he'd held off from anything more than the jerky. Granted--he had a pit of a stomach.

He nodded, looking a bit relieved if anything. "Good. Let's get something to eat. I can make something if you want. We don't have a lot of--I mean, there's rabbit jerky if you want. But there's some soup I could heat up. We have a little bit of bread, too." He was using her for his own appetite, but hey. She seemed friendly. In a good mood. It was nice, he didn't feel particularly...off-put by her persona.
