some things that usually help me:
- take a break for a few days? maybe a week? by the time you get back you might have a lot of muse stored up!
- do something wild with your character. cut their hair, change their style, have them pierce their nose - something to liven it up.
- try to develop them more. sometimes all i need is a little shift in their personality to want to play them more and come up with more exciting ideas!
- write a oneshot? i generally find that when i write one my muse comes flooding out, full swing.
- new aesthetics?
- maybe a new character? when i feel low, adding a new character generally brings back muse for all of them. or, sometimes falling in love with a new character helps me realize that i might need to drop my other character, hard as it may be.

building a playlist that goes with both your situation and your character situation at the both time helps - it builds muse while you jam out {or yknow, mellow jams}
i always play with concepts for anny when i need muse {ex. when i said he may get a horse it drove me to develop the horse}
taking a general break from thinking about plots help too- maybe extending to play video games for a couple hours rather then post could help
finding faceclaims and finding outfits for your character may help too
write an au thread. literally one of the more simple things- people flock to au threads, typically, especially chat ones, in which short posts could build muse

Playlists are a good way to build up muse. Also. Possibly a self realization? Honestly when I don’t have muse I just tinker around with ideas for my characters until I find one that I like.
