utopia matches what st. peter's is technically trying to be: the perfect society in a world that's fallen apart. they're trying to show that even though everything around them has been destroyed they're still standing and still one of the best places to live.

Thye're not much of a huge utopia tho. That sounds like it's some mssive beautiful city, when they're still having hard struggles and stuff. They're just better off sort of.

it's about the idea, they're no where near being perfect but if they can trick their people into believing that this is as good as it's getting then, well, aren't they just pretty much perfect? it's mostly symbolic and not literal, they're trying to put themselves above the other two places by saying "we're the utopia, the perfect place, the better place come work for us and live with us."

Looked back at the rest. I like New Eden too. It's also kinda symbolic but stucks with the 'little haven' kind of thing just cause it's not massive but it's a little paradise compared to the world.
Not liking dominion. Not the republic either, sounds too govermentny. City of light, it's not realy a city Idk I just don't like utopia. [align=center]

that isn't really the message i'm trying to send for the group now that i'm sort of leading it?
that makes it seem like they're better than everyone else, almost snobby. i want it to seem like, yes, this is a good place to stay and we have resources, but we aren't perfect. and it isn't. all they really have is a costco full of supplies, an abandoned apartment complex and a rural town [align=center]

tbh i think of st. peters as what it is: a trading hub. it's a place where people put aside their differences to acquire the goods they need to survive, and meet people from all walks of life.
i don't really think it's anything utopian or "haven-ey" since it is a place surrounded by business rather than harmony. honestly, it reminds me of those military camps during apocalypse scenarios that has proper equipment and offers a safe place to anyone who needs it [align=center]
it's how im feeling inside that's annoying my vibe. ☾

i guess i'm still stuck on the original idea i guess, lmao i just fucking hate anything with the name eden in it because it's overused and just drives people away. especially with the new group/old group being brought back called the knights of eden which can get a little confusing even with it being two different sections. um, hold on let me see what i can do. i know the original idea was snobby and nseoifjef a bitch can only think of ideas around that but.
- the silk road (based on their trading/market theme) - constantinople (the golden city, richest city of it's time and biggest trading port) - the hub - westworth - woodland (the name of the apartment complex in the fables comics) |
