SO the thread above basically states that Bane is going through a stage where he thinks souls are trapped in useless bodies (much like his own, as he is upset about his blindness and crippled paws) and he is striving to try and release those souls to be free and not 'trapped'

Your character can have anything from being blind to having a chronic sniffle XD But Bane won't try to 'free your soul' if they're generally fine
