ruffnut frowned. "i can't find tuffnut. you know what happens when he wanders off." she stated and scratched her head.

Hiccup blinked and said quietly, glancing down for a moment, "Well.... I'm fairly sure that I can read better than you, so my offer still stands.."

[dannychan]

he hesitated and nodded. "alright, yeah.."

He blinked and smiled, moving to sit back against the pillows and open the book onto his lap. He cleared his throat before starting to read.

he scampered so that he was next to hiccup, his eyes slightly wide. he leaned on the other male, looking down at the words.

Hiccup blinked and read slowly, pointing out words as he read them and tilting his head a bit.

[dannychan]

he blinked and tilted his head. "so.. why did goldilocks steal from the bears again?"

[peridot.]

"She didn't... steal stuff." He said, frowning a bit, "She just kinda... broke into their house."

[dannychan]

it was the next day and tuff was very tired and very cold. he had decided to sneak into hiccups room since he was out on toothless and try and read on of the books (even though he could hardly read). he grabbed the smallest there was and sat on hiccup's bed, humming brightly and flipping through pages slowly. he frowned softly, sinking into the bed and making a soft noise when he realised just how warm it was in hiccups room. no wonder he hasn't ever cold. he yawned softly and without thinking, he simply hugged hiccups pillow to his face and held the book to his chest, closing his eyes.
meanwhile, ruff was looking around for her brother, seemingvwry confused as to why he disappeared.

It had been a little while since Hiccup had gone out flying around on Toothless, and when he came in to land and rest back at home, he paused when he saw Ruff looking around with confusion and worry. He frowned, going over to her and saying softly, "Uh, hey. Is something wrong?"
