He looked at him. “...Talon is no more, Gabe. What happened then...That wasn’t your fault. It was mine and mine alone. I should have realized something was wrong. I should have seen where Overwatch was headed. But I didn’t.” He whisoered. “Shush is why I never should have taken the rank as commander. You were the only one who could have lead Overwatch properly. And I took that away from you.” He whisoered

he frowned. "but i created it, i should have just talked to you.."

He blinked, setting ahand on his cheek. “That’s all in the past now, Gabe. I forgive you. I never blamed you.” He whisoered. He then gently blinked a hand on Gabe’s cheek, using his thumb to brush away some of his tears. “Now come on baby. Stop your crying. It’s going to be okay.” Jack murmured

he took a deep breath and moved to kiss him. "love you.."

He kissed him back softly before resting their foreheads together. “I love you too Gabe.” He whisoered

he sighed softly. "im exhausted.."

Jack blinked, kissing his forehead. “Why don’t you go lay down for a bit? I’ll make dinner tonight. Just tell the kids to keep it down and close the door and rest for a bit.” Jack murmured

he sighed and nodded. "ok." he mumbled and moved to kiss him again. he then moved off.

Jack kissed him back softky and then watched as he left before turning to the stove.

Jesse had just gotten out of the shower and was dressed. He then moved out of the bathroom, stopping when he spotted Gabe. “...Dad? Are you okay?” Jesse asked

Gabe blinked and smiled softly. "i'm fine. just tired." he said and pat his shoulders. tell the others to keep it down." he said and moved off to his and jacks room.
