He blinked, kissing him back softly. He soon pulled away, watching him. "Need me to massage your neck?" He asked.

he hummed. "i need you to rest." he said softly and kissed his head.

He blinked, raising an eyebrow. “You know after you’ve been resting for a whole day straight, that kind of gets boring.” He said, running his thumb along the back of his neck

he hummed and moved kiss him.

He smiked, kissing him back softly. He then tangled their fingers together. He pulled away though when he heard the door open. He glanced over, spotting Moira. Moira glanced at them. She smiled.

“Nice to see you up Jack.” She said. She then moved over to Gabe. “Here. I got us some coffee.” She said, handing him a cup

he smiled softly and looked at moira. "hey. thanks."

Moira nodded. “You’re welcome Gabe.” She murmjred. She then glanced at Jack. “...We should know your results soon.” She said

Gabe nodded. "good.."

After a bit, the doctor had come into the room. Moira and Jack glanced over. The doctor looked at him. "Hello sir." The doctor greeted.

"Morning doctor." Jack said. The doctor looked him over.

"We have your results. You have some damage to your heart and one of your lungs. It appears to ave been caused from an injury a few years ago and has been getting steadily worse over the years." The doctor said. Previous damage huh? Well, they all certainly got hurt a lot out on the field. "You must have had a strong impact to the ribs once because your blood vessels have been damaged. You have two options, Morrison. With how serious it is...You don't have much longer left to live. We can perscribe you some strong pain killers so you pass peacefully. Or...We can give you a heart and lung trasnplant. But...There's a chance you may not survive the surgery." The doctor said.

Moira's eyes widened. Jack blinked, looking down. The doctor sighed. "It's a lot to think about, I know. I'll leave you three alone fpr a few minutes so you can talk this over." The doctor said. He then turned, leaving the room.

Gabe stared at the doctor, and took a deep breath. "shit." he breathed and ran a hand over his face.
