he sighed. “little secret: i was in a gang before overwatch.” he said.

He blinked, looking at him. “But you’re a better person now, Gabriel. You have a family who loves you and I know you’re ready to risk your life for them. Where we come from doesn’t define us. It’s what we do that will leave a lasting impression. Our actions are what the world is going to remember us by.” He said

he smiled softly. “we’re in black watch, kid. no ones ever going to know about us.”

It was about two weeks later. Jesse had ended up going missing from the base along with Tracer. Jack had gone out on his own several times to track them down, but no one had heard anything about their whereabouts. Gabe was a complete wreck ever since they ended up leaving. Jack knew he was worried. Jack was as well. But he was holding it together for gabe's sake.

Jesse and Tracer had ended up going back in time. They had gone back to save Joshua and bring him back to the present times. And it worked.  Joshua was still 9 years old, so he was still rather small.

The three had been walking for the past two days, and they were finally nearing the base. Joshua was sitting on Jesse's shoulders. Jesse had a hold on his legs so he didn't fall. Joshua was looking around. "Both of my dads are going to be there?"He asked.

"That's right kiddo. Both jack and Gabe. They're going to be so happy to see you again!" Lena said, smiling. Jesse nodded.

"Yeah. And Gabriel told me you loved cowboys, so I'll be sure to make him watch some movies with you." Jesse said with a smirk. Joshua's eyes lit up.

"Really? Thank you Jesse! Dad would never do that with me before. He was never a fan of them. "Joshua said. Jesse smiled, looking ahead. After a bit, they stopped once outside the base.

"Here we are Joshua. You're home." Jesse said. Joshua smiled. Jesse gently lifted Joshua off of his shoulders, setting him down on the ground. He then held his hand, walking him inside.

Gabe hd been with jack, discussing something about talon, but it was obvious he wasn’t focused, and he wasn’t completely awake.

Joshua looked around, his eyes wide. "...The base looks different." He said.

"Yes, I suppose it is. A lot of changes were made. New recruits, new upgrades...But all people you've grown up with." He said.

"Are Ana and Fareeha still here?" Joshua asked.

"Yep! And Fareeha is going to be so glad to see you again! She has been getting lonely being the only kid her age here. Seeing you again will definitly cheer her up." Lena said. Joshua smiled, sticking close to Jesse.

After a minute, they soon found Jack and Gabe. They stopped. Jesse blinked. "Jack, Gabe...There's someone here who you're going to want to see." Jesse said. Joshua peeked over from behind Jesse.

"Dads!" Joshua said, looking at them.

Gabe looked over and blinked, instantly waking himself up and hesitated. “jack, pinch me.” he stated.

Jack glanced over at Joshua. His eyes widened. "...Joshua?" He asked, his voice quiet. Jesse glanced down at him.

"Don't be shy, Josh. Go on." Jesse murmured, gently nudging him forward. He then slowly back away with Lena to give them space.

Gabe moved over, getting on his knees a rn touching the boys cheeks before pulling him into a tight hug and hiding his face in the boy’s shoulder.
