When ullr had healed, he kept his promise on taking Atreus out hunting. They had gone out early in the morning, since that's when animals seemed to be most active. Early at dawn. Atreus had stuck close to Ullr, keeping his eyes open for any signs of animals. He stopped after a while, bending down on one knee to examine some tracks he found.

"Deer tracks. Fresh by the looks of it." Atreus said. They were quite spaced out though. And some ground seemed to be a bit torn up from the deer's hooves. Atreus stood up, looking along the path of the tracks. It was running. Looked like it was in a panic. Something must have startled it off.

he frowned, looking the tracks. he slowly turned in a circle, seeing what looked like claw marks on one of he trees. the marks were long, spaced out, and much larger than his hand. he slowly stepped back, looked over her shoulder at atreus only to see something truly terrifying- a massive brown bear standing in its two back feet. it growled before roaring and moving to fall on atreus,but ullr seemed to disappear, and reappear, a sheiks attached to his fore arm. he bashed the shield up, which caused a huge wave of air to push the bear back. of course, if he wasn’t a god, he would have played dead- but he was. he opened his arms and shouted at the bear, with made it recoil. he was loud, and with his arms waving like that, the bear decided it wasn’t worth it and ran. he let out an exhausted breath, holding himself up with his hands place just above his knees.

Atreus glanced up at Ullr. He noticed that Ullr had his eyes fixed on something. Atreus frowned, turning around before spotting the bear. Atreus froze, quickly taking a step back and drawing his bow to aim at the bear. He took a step back, suddenly falling onto his back when the bear moved to land on him. He was about to release the arrow when Ullr appeared in front of him and bashed the bear with a shield. Atreus scampered back, watching with wide eyes.

He released a slight shaky breath, watching the bear leave before looking at Ullr. "....You're a god?" Atreus asked.

ullr looked at atreus and his eyes widened. “please don’t tell your father.” he said. “i know what he does to god’s and i dontnwant to die. i just want to.. i want to live normally.”

Atreus looked him over. "Hey...Ullr, it's okay. I won't tell him but...He's not an idiot. He'll find out." He whispered. He looked him over. "He's not the same guy he was before. He's changed. He's not going to kill you unless you harm me." He said.

he frowned. “i’d never hurt you, atreus.” he said.

He nodded. “I know this, Ullr.” He saud. He looked him over. “That’s why you don’t need to worry about anything with my father.” He said

he nodded and looked down. “it’s just.. odin warner me when i came here, but  i insisted..”

He looked Ullr over. “You know Odin?” He asked

he hesitated. “he’s my grandfather.. technically.” he stated. “i am.. quite literally, ullr, god of the hunt, the shield, and..” he sighed. “snowshoes..”
