He nodded. “I can’t do anything tonight since he’s still passed out. But when he wakes up, I’ll talk to him.” He murmured. He then set a gentle hand on his back. “Go sit down and relax for a bit. I’ll handle cleaning the mess up in here.” He said

he looked down and moved off.

Elijah watched asConnor moved off. He then started cleaning up the kitchen, throwing away the bottles and tidying up the room. He soon finished after a half an hour. He looked over at Connor. Sumo had hopped up next to him on the couch and was resting his head on Connor’s lap

connor was sat there quietly, his hands running through the dogs fur quietly.

Elijah moved over, gently setting a hand on Connor’s shoulder. He really didn’t know how to help the other, but he needed to try. Connor and Hank gave him shelter, so the least he could do was try to help Hank and connor to return the favor.

he looked at him and nodded, looking down.

He sighed. After a while, he glanced over at Hank’s room when he heard noises coming from it. Eventually, Hank left his room, entering the living room. He looked like shit, but at least he was still alive and awake now. Hank lpoked over at them.

“What’s wrong Connor? You seem kind of off.” Hank said

connor looked at him, obviously not pleased. “you need to quit drinking.” he stated.

Hank sighed. “Again with this Connor?” He asked. Elijah frowned.

“Hank, it’s not just affecting you and your health. It’s taking a toll on Connor as well.” Elijah said

he stared at connor, frowning. “you nearly killed yourself, hank. if that bullet had hit you, you’d be dead.” he stated. “and not only would that be leaving many people you care about behind, but it’d also leave me to be either relocated to a different unit, or me being blamed for your death.” he said and looked down. “and i don’t.. i don’t want you to die.”
