It had been a few hours later and had started to become Night. They had gone on the Ferris wheel. Gracie ended up finding some friends so it was just Danny and Steve alone in one cart on the Ferris wheel. Steve looked around.

danny seemed pretty happy to be on a ferris wheel. they had done the fireworks a while ago, and now that there was calm, people had started to leave and it was considerably less quiet. “god, this is a much better view than back in the mainland..”

Steve glanced around, giving a small nod. “Yeah. I kind of forgot what it was like to just relax and have fun like this.” He murmured

he nodded and leaned back, sighing. “we should just relax more often..”

Steve nodded. “Agreed. This is very nice.” He murmjred softky. He glanced over at Danny. He hesitated for a moment before hesitantly draping an arm around his shoulders

Steve glanced down at Danny when he felt him lean into his side. He then looked ahead. “...Thank you.” Steve murmured after a momemt.

Steve glanced down. “I know I’m not always the best person to be partnered with. I know I have some issues, but...Thanks for sticking by my side.” He said
