he chuckled and looked away, sighing softly.

Steve looked at Danny. “...Are you alright?” He asked, watching him with slight concern.

he blinked and nodded. “yeah.@ he said softly and sat up. “i was t joking when i said i love you..” he said quietly and looked down. “i mean.. you’re always here for me, gracie loves you and you’re great with her.. you make me happy.. how could i not?” he mumbled.

Steve stared at him silently. He soon looked away, a bit lost for words. “I...” He trailed off, soon letting out a soft breath and smiling. “Love you too.” He murmured softly.
