It was around 7 in the morning the next day. Jack and Gabe were still by each other. Jack was still asleep, but was awoken quiet abruptly when he heard barking and howling. He frowned, his eyes opening. He stayed still for a moment before slowly sitting up. It was Rusty. Rusty was barking and howling and he sounded a bit panicked.

Jack frowned, getting to his feet.he then headed over to where he heard Rusty. “Rusty, Buddy, what’s up?” Jack asked. He watched as the dog scratched at a door, whimpering. Jack glanced over at the door. It was the door that lead to the basement.

Gabe was woken up by rusty and he had moved out to see what was going on. “what the hell is going on??”

Jack frowned. “I have no idea.” He ssid. He then shushed Rusty before heading over to the door and opening it. Instantly Rusty sprinted down the steps to the basement. Jack frowned, reaching down to grab the small pistol he kept on hand. He then headed down the steps. Once there, he glanced around before he heard shouting and Rusty growling.

Jack turned a corner, spotting a woman who had Lena pinned against the wall. There were two men there as well. Rusty had ended up launching at one of them, biting his arm. The man hissed in pain, trying to fling the dog off, but Rusty kept a tight hold on his arm.

“The hell is going on in here?” Jack asked, looking around at them, his gun aimed at the group. The woman looked over, frowning.

“Oh. The famous strike commander, Morrison.” The woman muttered. Jack frowned. He glanced over at Tracer before looking back at the woman. “Back off. This doesn’t concern you. We’re only here to take your cadet here and then leave. So just let us have her and make this easier on us.” The woman said.

“Like hell you are. Let go of her and back up.” Jack hissed. “The hell do you even want with her?” Jack asked.

“Oh. A certain accomplice of talon wanted her to be executed. So we’re following our orders to take her and kill her.” The woman said. “Now back off. We have a job to do. If we have to kill you too, we will.” The woman said. Tracer was shaking a bit, her eyes wide. She glanced over at Jack.

Gabe scowled. “either you let her go or i blow y-“ he was cut off by the sound of a gun shit, and he felt a sudden sting on his ear, and a bullet flew past him, hitting on of the women. he rose a hand to his bleeding ear and turned to see ten and addy stood with their guns and weapons at the ready. ten looked.. very angry. “let her go before i back your heads in like a damn z.”
addy snarled.

The woman looked over at Gabe. She smirked. Jack suddenly flinched at the sound of a gunshot. The three looked up at Ten. The woman then looked at Gabe. She smirked. “Gabriel, still double crossing Overwatch I see.” She said. Jack narrowed his eyes.

“What are you talking about?” Jack asked.

“Oh he never told you?” She asked. “Well then, I can inform you. Reyes here is another leader of talon. Has been for a while now. He sent an attack on that one city last night. But of course, he couldn’t tell you that to your face. He’s aware of the consequences. But he was too scared to tell you the truth. You’ve had a talon leader right under your nose this whole time and you didn’t even know.” She said.

Jack stared at Gabe before looking at the woman. He then quickly raised his gun, shooting her in the head and she fell, letting go of Lena. Lena froze, her eyes wide. The other man finally kicked Rusty off of his arm and drew out his gun, aiming it at Jack.

before the man could, addy swung her bat at his head, lodging a spike into his neck and Gabe pulled a shot gun out of seemingly no where and shot the man in the stomach.

The two men suddenly collapsed. Jack stared down at them before putting his gun away. He glanced over at Gabe. He looked him over before glancing away.

Lena shook, watching as the fight went on. She seemed to slide down the wall, sitting down, her knees pulled to her chest. Rusty quickly moved over to Lena, licking her face and brushing up against her. Lena raised her hands, petting his neck.

Gabe frowned and drew his leg back to kick one leg back and kick his hard in the chest. “fuck, you have some nerve. you plan to kill my daughter, and then accuse me of working with talon? you’re fucking sick.” he growled.
