Jack stayed awake a bit longer, making sure Gabriel was asleep. After a while, Jack let his eyes close as he fell into a light sleep as well

It was a while later. In the morning, Jack had woken up. He didn’t move though. He just stayed in bed, holding Gabe. After a while, he pulled away, brushing Gabe’s hair back. He then stood up, heading out to the living room

Gabe shifted as the other left and sighed softly, eventually waking up and frowning when jack wasn’t there. he set a hand on the warmth that was still there from his body and sighed, setting his head against it.

After a while, Jack entered the room, looking over. He moved over, sitting down by Gabe.
“Good morning Gabriel.” He murmured

he made a soft noise and looked over him. “what’s so good about it?@ he groaned sleepily and attached himself to the males thigh. that had been something he did since they were young teenagers- just sleep on jack’s lap no meter where he was.

He blinked, watching him. He set a hand on his back. “Well..,You’re alive. You’re in a warm and safe house. You’re staying with someone who loves you." He saud, shrugging

he groaned. “stop trying to make mornings good for me, you little shit.” he smwhined, hugging his waist and hugging. “you damn early riser.”

He chcukled softly, ruffling his hair. “Come on, rising early is great.” He said

he whined and moved to snap at jack’s hand playfully (and missing).
