Nine watched him, blinking. “No you’re not. You’re human.” He said, watching him. “And almost every human I’ve met has called me shitty. Therefore, you were speaking the truth too.” He whispered

he frowned. “no, you’re not shitty, humans just don’t know how to be nice!” he said. “stop calling yourself shitty because it’s not true, ok..?”

Nine was silent for a moment before giving a small nod.

he frowned and set a hand on his cheek, pulling his face closer and pecking his LED gently. “stupid..”

Nine blinked, a slight confused frown tugging at his lips. His led turned yellow as he watched him. “I do not feel emotions, sir. Being called shitty is not harming me in any way  if that’s what you’re so upset over.” Nine said.

he frowned. “yeah, you do. you’re deviant. you just don’t know what they feel like yet.” he said.

He watched him. He shrugged after a moment. He didn’t “feel” anything. If he did, he hadn’t taken notice of it.

he blinked. “like sometimes you make this little face when i say something you don’t understand. you get confused and you try to figure out what i mean.. you feel like you’re just a shitty piece of junk- which you’re not..” he said, continuing to scroll.

Nine watched him, his led blinking yellow as he spoke. He then looked back down at the screen. So he was feeling things then. He was doing all the things he designed not to do. He was flawed then. Or malfunctioning. Nine frowned a bit.

he looked at nines and frowned. “you’re not broken, i can tell you’re thinking that..” he said softly.
