Nine blinked. “Alright.” He murmured. He then looked over at the clock. Four in the morning. He glanced down at Gavin again. “Gavin, it’s late. Go to sleep. I’ll make sure nothing happens.” He murmjred

he hesitated. “i can’t..” he breathed softly.

He watched him for a moment. “Well Gavin, you cant go missing out on sleep. He murmured. He then shifted, laying down fully on the couch on his side. He then pulled Gavin close so his face was buried in his chest and his back to the couch. Nine then took a throw blanket and tucked it around Nine before wrapping his arm around Gavin again. He pressed a gentle kiss to Gavin’s temple.

“There. Nothing can get you now. Nothing can sneak up behind you. And to get to you, they’ll have to go through me first. And I won’t let anything or anyone harm you.” Nine whisoered.

he sniffed and nodded, nuzzling closer and closing his eyes in an attempt to sleep.

Nine kept him close, raising his hand to stroke Gavin’s hair slowly. He then started humming a soft tune, moving his hand down to rest in Gavi’s Back

he eventually, after a good hour, finally fell asleep, snuggled up to nines.

Nine stayed awake the entire time. Being an android, He didnt need sleep to function, so this was no problem. He remained awake and vigilant, every now and then looking around the room

It was a few hours later, around ten in the morning. Gavin was still thankfully asleep, but Nine wanted to do something for him. So he had gotten up off the couch and went to the kitchen. He had started making a healthier breakfast for Gavin.

gavin, eventually, started to wake up. his burned hands hurt, and the bandaging probably needed to be changed. he whimpered softly, feeling for his boyfriend.
