With a shifting gaze, a quiet Green wandered into the dimly lit warehouse, a deep inhalation of the musty air signifying how underused it'd been in the more recent weeks. He'd been absent from the world, trapped inside a mind that he could not escape from, no matter how hard he tried. He stood in his usual spot, arms folded across his chest, chewing absentmindedly on his lip whilst he waited for people to begin to turn up for today's meeting.

Lysander watched the dusty windows, staring with a curious, golden expression, stopping to rest against a beam at a reasonable distance from Green. Lysander was still trying to get into the swing of this new, grouped up life, and as he waited for the beginning of the meeting, he wondered how he'd gotten this far without doing something stupid. Quirking his eyebrows at Green in greeting, Lysander crossed his arms, crinkling his nose as he resisted the urge to sneeze.

— mateo strolled into the meeting, an easy smile on his lips. it seemed whatever nonchalant energy green had lost in the last couple of weeks, mateo had stolen and taken it for his own. he looked relaxed, the most he'd been in a while. the grin said it all who could blame the newly-engaged man? he nodded his head towards green in greeting before going to  his usual spot in the warehouse.

Green cracked short smiles at those entering the warehouse for today’s meeting, features dissolving quickly back to its vacant gaze once more. When it seemed like nobody else was going to arrive, Green shoved his hands in his pockets before starting. ❝ So. I guess I ought to start by welcoming Lysander and Honey to Northstar. ❞ He gestured his hand over towards Lysander with a tiny smile, ❝ I hope you’ve been settling in nicely. ❞ He hesitated briefly, blinking around in thought. ❝ I thought we should maybe do some things together as a group. Perhaps a group-wide game or event… any ideas? ❞

Green fell silent as he gave people the chance to bring up any suggestions, and then he continued. ❝ Our Valentines Day event was a success, if I say so myself. I hope you all enjoyed it and… I’m happy to see the groups getting along so well. ❞ He huffed softly, lowering his gaze contemplatively. ❝ Next thing… Mateo- ❞ Green felt sick even mentioning his name as he flitted over towards the second-in-command. ❝ got engaged earlier this week, so congratulations. ❞ Words were dull, eyes lingering as he added, ❝ I hope you treat Sel right - you’re a lucky man. ❞ If anything, words sounded a little bitter. Not because he was jealous, but because Green was worried for Sel. Mateo didn’t deserve her, but Green wouldn’t be the one to outwardly say so.

He released a slow breath before shrugging, ❝ I don’t think much else needs to be said for today. I hope you all have a great rest of the day. ❞
