Gladio glanced at Prompto. He gently ruffled his hair. “You’ll both be scolded if you keep that shit up.†He said teasingly. He then looked over at the tv. “Mind if I put on the news?†He asked. Noctis shook his head. Gladio then took the remote and turned on the tv.
Noctis blinked, looking down. He had been doing his work until he heard a mention that the king was making a speech. Noctis stopped his homework and looked at the tv. He had t actually seen his father in the past six months due to this new living arrangement. Plus, his father was extremely busy now so he couldn’t even stop in to see him.
Noctis’s eyes widened a bit when he watched his father giving the speech. King Regis now had a cane and looked really exhausted and worn down. He looked frail and weak now. Noctis set his pencil down as he watched the tv.
