William Grey
19
5'8"

William was born a single child, in a town in Britain. His mother and father raised him together. At the age of 15, a disease had claimed his mother's life, leaving he and his father alone. During 1718, a war had broken out, involving Britain, France, Austria, and Spain. William, being 16 at the time, joined the British forces with his father.

They fought in the war to drive out Spain from Sicily and Sardinia. On August 11th, 1718, William lost his father in the Battle of Cape Passaro.

In 1720, the war had finally come to an end with the signing of The Treaty of The Hague. The fighters were finally allowed to go home. William was now 19 years old, and having lost his family, he moved to La Rochelle, France, to start a new life. He now works for some fishermen down at the docks so he can earn his wages to continue renting out a small house in the town.

William had just gotten back from a fishing trip with the crew he had set out with. He had helped unload their catch and had gotten paid for the days work. William was heading to the market square to go pick up a few things for today. He seemed to be spacing out, but was quickly brought back when he bumped into someone. Startled, he jumped back a bit.

"Sorry, sir. I didn't see you there." He said. He looked the other over. Oh. He was already drunk, huh? It wasn't even noon yet. Seemed a bit early to be drinking. Then again, it wasn't the first time he had seen men drinking this early.
