(Her real name is Rosamund. I guess they just call her Rosy though.)
Sherlock glanced up. "Guess they were in the area." He whispered quietly. After a minute, he heard footsteps. "Sherlcok? John?" Lestrade suddenly called out. Sherlock glanced up.
"Lestrade? Did you find a key?" Sherlock asked. Lestrade frowned.
"No. Nothing." Lestrade said. Sherlock frowned. He then glanced at John. Screw it. His friend wasn't dying here. Sherlock grabbed John's hand, guidning it over to a small jutting rock on the side of the well.
"Hold onto that. Keep yoursefl up." Sherlock said, looking at John. He then suddenly drew in a breath before diving under. He managed to keep his eyes open, searching around for the chains. It was dark so he couldn't see anything, but his hand soon brushed over the chains. He then started tugging on them as hard as he could, trying to pry the metal off of the stone floor. They could deal with getting the cuffs off after.
Sherlock had been down there for about four minutes now. His lungs were burning and he felt light headed. He soon managed to pry the chains off. He then quickly swam back up the surface, suddenly gasping for breath. He glanced over at John before looking up. He moved John over to a more secure location to where he could start climbing out.
