Lena blinked. “He’s around 4 years old now. I...I bought him for my parents. They kept saying how much they wanted a dog but never got around to buying one. So for their anniversary I went to the shelter and bought this boy for them. He was only one month old then and he’d already been through horrible sistuatuons. He had been abused since day one until the neighbors finally took him away to a shelter. And I knew then the first time I laid eyes on him, he’d make a great addition to he family.†Lena murmured.
