so I've been thinking of making the high position ranks a lot more compact? like there's only like ,, 4 s/hps
but there is a lot more emphasis placed on titles, of which a character can have multiple and won't necessarily be stripped away if there's a bit of inactivity. if y/c is branded, then they're branded and it'll take a lot to lose that, but if you're a s/hp then just. not being around can mean you lose it
s/hps would have more authority than those w titles, but titles would be more important to ic life and would still come w respect and authority (to a lesser extent)
