[align=center][div style="width: 450px;border: 0px black solid;text-align: justify;text-transform: lowercase;"]heat. it was such a horrible thing. beating down on his dark hair and making it feel like he was on fire. he sighed, shrugging off his flannel and standing in his black tank top at the bottom of the gargantuan mountain standing in his way. the farther up he looked, he wondered if it would get hotter or colder. hopefully the latter. he looked at his old, worn out cleats, knowing that they'd help on the way up.

so the treck began, starting to pant as the rise began got more and more steep. he grabbed onto tree roots, digging his fingers into the ground when there wasn't any, using long fingernails as holds. he remembered doing this, but it seemed like a dream, jumping to get up mountains, wearing leather like armour as a huge, frost breathing dragon tried to knock him off- but it was just a dream.

as he finally got to flatter ground, he stood straight, staring at the ski lodge that stood in front of him, tall and proud but still falling apart. it reminded him of home, almost. he looked down the mountain he had climbed, looking down at his peeling and bloody calluses, the splinters from the roots. he rose an arm to wipe the sweat from his forehead and moved to the front door, staring up at the old, rotting sign. "mh.."
