After a while, they had strayed rather far from the farm. Further then they had planned. The sky had been slowly darling until it was covered with dark grey clouds. Without much of a warning, a sudden downpour of rain had started. It was dark and not much was visible with how heavy the rain was. Noctis frowned, looking around. They couldn't stay out here.
"Prompto, we need to turn back-" Noctis suddenly trailed off when a clash of lightning split the sky. The chocobo Noctis was on suddenly let out a scared chirp, suddenly bolting off. Noctis froze, attempting to stop the bird since he was still on it. After a minute, the bird suddenly slipped from the ground being muddy. Unfortunately, they were next to a rather steep cliff. The bird flapped its wings, attempting to regain its footing, but it tumbled down the cliff, Noctis still on it. Needles to say Noct was thrown front the bird. He tumbled down the cliff as well. The bird and Noctis landed hard onto the ground below the cliff. Noct and the chocobo had fallen limp and still once they hit the ground. Both were unmoving.
