It was a few weeks later. Gabriel had been healing rather nicely. He seemed a bit hapier then he had been, which was a great relief for the others. Jesse was currently downstairs, pacing a bit

his happiness had mostly been thanks to his antidepressants. he was sat out on the porch on the porch swing, acrollin through social media with bubua laying next to him.

After a bit, Jesse moved outside. He spotted Gabe. He slwoly moved over, gently picking up the dog. He then sat down, resting the dog on his lap afterwards. Bubua barked, wagging her tail as she licked at his arm. He smiled, petting her gently. His smile soon faded away however. He glanced over at Gabriel. "...Dad?" He asked. He was silent for a moment. "It's...Almost time that I start heading back to overwatch. Are you going to be okay?" he asked quietly.
