he blinked and his eyes widened. “seriously?!”

He smiled weakly and said, nodding, "Uhm, y-yeah? Is that really surprising?"

he nodded quickly. “yeah!” he squawked.

He said softly, smiling a little, "Uhm... Well, I guess we're not really that affectionate around campers.."

he blinked and looked ahead. “is he going to have to sign too?”

He blinked and said, squeaking a little, "Uhh, I don't think he has to. I mean, it's not like he and I are married or anything."

he blinked and nodded. “do you want me to ask?”

He laughed and said, smiling, "Yeah, but that wasn't... We weren't really dating. We were just pretending because I had a family event to go to and some of my extended family is pretty homophobic. The reason I was so upset when we 'broke up' was because I thought we were actually kinda becoming friends, but I was wrong."
