Well, the mission had finally come up. Like Jack said, they were fighting off some robots. And this was the perfect opportunity for Gabe to make an advance on his plan. Get rid of Jack. They had gotten separated from the rest of the group. Gabe could easily off Jack right now and make an excuse that one of the robots had gotten to him and he couldn't save him in time.

Gabriel loaded one of his guns before heading over to Jack. He narrowed his eyes.

jack had just finished off a stray omnivore, and was trying to find cover, reloading his gun. he could hear distant gunfire, but it was coming from all directions. he growled and looked around before seeing Gabe. "reyes!"
