Jack wrapped an arm around his shoukders. He rubbed his back slwoly. “...you’re rubbing off on him, you know.” Jack murmjred. He kissed his head. “He’s an idiot at times but...He’s pretty selfless and brave. Just like you.” He murmured

he sighed and didn’t respond.

He blinked, looking down at him. “...When he woke up he asked about you. He does seem to care about you quite a bit. You should go visit him later.” Jack murmured

he nodded. “i will.. i shouldn’t have made him leave the training room..”

He frowned. “Gabe, Don’t. This wasn’t your fault. And I promise, whoever shot him, we’ll track her down.” He said

he looked down. “it was definitely widow.”

Jack sighed. “...We’ll take her down with the rest of talon.” He said. He looked him over. “...I’ll leave you alone for a bit” He said. He then kissed his head before getting up and moving back inside.

Jesse was sat up in the bed, he had his knees pulled to his chest, his arms resting on his knees. He was looking down at the bed. After a while, he looked at his hand, a bit startled when it turned into smoke just like Gabe’s body had. He looked his hand over, watching as it turned back into a physical hand instead of the smoke. He frowned, clechinh his hand into a fist.

after a while, Gabe went to visit him. he knocked on the door gently.
