Sherlock was released the next day from the hospital. That previous night Sherlock had managed to get John to go home so he could get some rest as well. Sherlock had been released earlier then what he thought, so he had taken a cab back to the flat. Once there, Sherlock moved up the stairs, heading to the flat. He then opened the door and entered the room.

john had fallen asleep on the couch, laying across it and shivering slightly.

Sherlock spotted John. His gaze softened a bit. He slowly moved over to him. He slipped off his coat, gently placing it over John. He then bent down a bit, brushing John's hair back. He placed a soft kiss to his forehead before straightening back up.

john made a soft noise, and shifted before smiled slightly. "hey.." he mumbled sleepily.

Sherlock glanced down at him. "Hello John." Sherlock murmured. He looked around before sitting down on the small opening of the couch by John's feet.

he moved so he sat up, humming softly and then moving to set his head on the males thighs, curling up.

Sherlock tensed up a bit at the sudden movements. He relaxed after John settled. He then slowly started to run his fingers through John's hair. Sherlock watched him. He took in John's features. All the details of him. He never really noticed how beautiful John really was before.

he hummed sleepily and moved to take one of the males hands in his own, smiling slightly.
