Sherlock smile faintly. He then rested his head back on the couch, letting his eyes close. He continued playing with John's hair.

he hummed softly, smiling.

After a while, Sherlock opened his eyes. He glanced down at John, moving his hand to rest on John's back. "Did you sleep at all last night?" He asked.

he sighed and shook his head. "couldn't.."

Sherlock glanced at him. He rubbed his back gently. "Alright. Go to bed. I'm home now so you don't have to worry." He siad.

he smiled slightly. "do you want to lay with me?"

Sherlock watched him. “I wouldn’t mind but I haven’t been able to eat anything in the past day and the doctors wanted me to try and have something small.” He said

he nodded. "then i'll sleep after you eat. how does toast and honey sound, hmm?"

He blinked. “That sounds fine.” He murmured

he hummed and moved to stand up, stretching slowly.
