As more students left the school, Rei started to wonder if she had been too late as she continued to walk around.
Suddenly, she spotted her.
The girl from earlier... Oh, was she a classmate?
"H-hey! Wait up!"

Leyko stopped when she heard someone call after. She turned to face the person who called her. "Yes." She said with a small smile as she saw who it was.

Rei stopped a bit, glancing around.
Then she sheepishly glanced at the empty classroom that she had just stopped Leyko from entering.
"Uhh, I dunno if I was seeing things, but there's something I'm sorta curious about. Were you gonna go in there? Can I come with?" With a thumb, she gestured to the classroom door, waiting awkwardly for an answer.

Leyko looked at her with a curious look. "Sure." She said a little unease about what the girl was curious about. Leyko opened the classroom door and walked into the room and stopped when she reached a group of desks and waited on Rei to get into the room.

Rei entered as well, then closed the door.
Trying to give her a friendly smile, the pony-tailed girl stuffed her hands into her pockets, wondering if she was acting suspicious.
"While I was on the roof earlier... Did you do anything? Like, outside, maybe?" Keeping her eyes on Leyko, she also added, "I won't tell anyone! I just wanted to know if I was seeing things..."

Leyko looked at her. "What did you see?" She asked already knowing that she got caught shooting off the fireballs. She had to think of something quickly.

Rubbing the back of her head, Rei vaguely wondered what she was getting herself into.
"Fire, maybe? And light." She glanced at Leyko curiously. "It was cool," she admitted. "But let's hope I wasn't seeing things because of heatstroke or anything," she said lightly, trying to crack a joke.
This entire situation was new, but it wasn't a bad thing, she thought.

"Have you told anyone else?" Leyko asked, hoping that she could find a way out of this. She knew if a lot of people knew, the war would get bigger. Leyko from Rei to the clock back to Rei with a slight smile on her face.

"Nope. Not a soul." Returning the smile, Rei wondered if this was the part where she was killed for knowing too much. "So... It was real?"

Leyko walked over to the door and opened it to make sure that there was no nearby and then closed it and walked over to the window and did the same thing. Once she saw that there was no one nearby, she looked at Rei. "Yes what you saw was real, but no one can know," Leyko said. "It'll put my family and me in danger." She said looking at Rei still.
