[dannychan]

he blinked and gave a nervous smile, shaking his head. "i didn't think you were actually into guys. i was sort of just joking b- wait, i'm a big case?" he said. that meant this place was probably bugged. he's sighed. "jesus, man, what the hell did i do? i'm just tryig to run a classy strip bar!"

[peridot.]

He sighed and put his hands up, saying quietly as he shook his head, "Listen, I'm not really at liberty to share any details. Besides, I don't know all that much myself. All I know is that we've been looking into you a lot lately."

[dannychan]

he huffed and leaned back, propping his feet up on his desk. he grumbled something before suddenly hearing his father's ring tone. he froze for a moment, knowing the other would see the face on the screen before he could get to the phone. he scrambled to grab the phone, falling from his chair in the process and answering the phone. "p-papa." he greeted, seeming nervous.

[peridot.]

Nick's eyes flicked down to the phone, and he felt his interest perk a bit as he saw who it was, but he was interrupted by Diego scrambling to grab the phone. He hesitated before saying quietly, turning back towards the door, "I'll give you some privacy."

[dannychan]

he hesitated and nodded nervously, watching him leave and it was about half an hour before there was a soft 'ciao' from inside the office.

Nick was still sitting outside in the actual club, watching one of the dancers and fiddling with the phone in his hands. About 15 minutes earlier he had called Judy and told her about the man he'd seen on the phone, and he felt a bit bad for it, despite the fact Diego was dangerous.

[dannychan]

diego rubbed his face and glanced at the window changing the contact picture on his phone and climbing out the window with his gun in pocket. he made a call and started over to nicks apartment. he would have to speak with him privately later.

[peridot.]

After another 15 minutes or so, Nick sighed and got to his feet, leaving the club and heading back towards his apartment.

[dannychan]

he sighed softly. "i'm expecting a very important call from a very important person." he sighed, fixing his pencils again before sharpening one a bit restlessly. his leg once bouncing slightly as he glanced at nick. "i honestly hadn't expected you to come. i thought you'd be taking some investigation with your partner or whatever.."

[peridot.]

He shrugged a bit and smiled, saying quietly, "Nah, we don't really have anything big right now besides, well.. you. I saw no reason not to come though. I might not technically be gay, but I figured you were counting bi guys too in your offer."
