Connor blinked, glanced at Maddok when he was suddenly hugged. Connor closed his eyes after a moment. He then used his free arm to hug him, holding him close. He sniffed and released a shaky breath. "....We did it." Connor whispered, a faint, weak smile tugging at his lips.

he sniffed and nuzzled him. “let’s go get you fixed up..”

Connor kept him close, holding him tightly. He turned his head, pressing a soft kiss to his head. He gave a faint nod.

he pushed him gently into the back seat and say with him.

Connor sat with him, an arm wrapped over his shoulders. Hank glanced in the rear view mirror at them. "...What you did today...You made history, Connor. You saved so many lives today." Hank said. Connor looked them over.

"I couldn't have done it without you guys." He whispered. Connor then leaned his head back as Hank started driving. Connor seemed to still a bit and his breathing slowed and grew more shallow.

he frowned softly. “connor..?” he mumbled.

Connor opened his eyes slightly, looking down at him. "Hmm?" He asked softly, raising his hand and resting it on the back of his head gently.

he frowned. “stay awake..” he said softly, his hand over a wound.

Connor nodded. He gently brushed his thumb along the back of his neck. He then gently pulled him close, kissing his head softly.
